Valley Vista

Place is immaculate- the optional extension worked perfectly for our crew. Overall excellent location as I walked to town one night - though beware walk home is up hill. The second level hot tub deck is epic during the day and maintains an exclusive view of forest. Must be one of the best locations in the area.

We came up for almost a week. The backyard looks over the valley and is very comfortable. We ate all our meals on the deck. Great yard for the pooch to wander about and she really enjoyed the deck perch. We added the downstairs owner’s suite to our package and it was very nice and appears to have been a recent remodel.
Any activity will require driving to town or elsewhere on the river. Hit up Porter Bass, a small local winery 10 minutes away.
The host was very responsive to the couple of questions that came up, leaving nothing unresolved. This home will be on the list when we come back to the area.
The home is up a steep narrow road so be prepared. If coming at night, there is minimal to no street lighting on the way up. Plan accordingly.

When our reservation for a different spot got cancelled just a few hours before we were about to arrive in Guernville for an event, we frantically began searching for any open listings. We somehow lucked out with this one! WC lodging responded to my messages immediately and we were able to confirm the reservation, put our minds at ease, and arrive on time. The house is beautiful and peaceful with many great amenities (washer/drier, spacious living/dining room, AC.) The view from the deck is unbelievable! Drinking coffee out there every morning was a treat, as was soaking in the hot tub under the trees. We would love to come back!

A very lovely house to stay in! We were given the wrong code at check in but they immediately were able to assist and were always responsive. The backyard and hot tub are beautiful and we would love to stay again.

Our family of four plus one pup had a comfortable and memorable stay in this updated rustic home. We found every amenity needed for a four-night stay including robes to use for the outdoor jacuzzi. Appreciated the fully enclosed front and back yards. Conveniently located to town and close to other driveable local towns and sights including Jenner on the coast, and Healdsburg inland. Host was communicative, responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Great cottage for a quiet weekend stay in Russian river!

This place has it all. From the moment we walked in with our dog we felt comfortable. The house has all the details covered, the kitchen is fully loaded, it's clean, comfortable, and hss all the amenities. The landscaping, the views, the privacy, and the completely dog friendly yard. It's so close to town, the grocery and the highway! We can't wait to book our next stay!! FIVE STARS ?

Perfect location, very clean and tidy. The place has everything you need - all kitchen needs, BBQ, towels, washing machine, hot tub was awesome. It's a little dark inside the house but keeps it cool on a hot day. It feels a tiny bit expensive but not many other options on a busy weekend in the area.

Valley Vista was such a great getaway! It’s definitely off the beaten path, but that is why we chose it. Has all the creature comforts you’d expect of an updated home out in the hills, but has retained a lot of its rustic charm. There wasn’t a single thing we needed that wasn’t provided aside from food, and they had a decent amount of that covered as well (spices, oils, coffee, etc). Definitely make sure to get your map loaded on your phone before trying to get out there, as they aren’t kidding when they say signal can be bad. Wifi on the property takes care of that once you get there. Also, the back deck is AMAZING. Bordered on both sides by a high fence and foliage, you can enjoy the jacuzzi or lay out for some sun without worrying about neighbors being able to see you. Can’t recommend this property enough. If you’re looking to disconnect a bit, especially with a significant other, spouse, etc., I highly recommend this property.

Our family had a wonderful stay. The house was big, very nice, and had everything you need to make it feel like home. The host was always responsive and attentive to anything we needed. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Guerneville!

Owners did a great job with this house! Lots of upgrades & beautiful landscaping. Sparkling clean upon arrival & well stocked kitchen. Larger bedroom’s attached bathroom was pretty tiny but the other bathroom was perfect. Backyard was private & peaceful with lots of seating options. Just be mindful, if you are traveling with anyone who can’t walk or handle stairs well, there are three levels to this backyard & it is a flight of stairs down to the hot tub. The yard was absolutely perfect for my dog though, he loved it! There was one area in the front yard where the fencing has some gaps but it was fine. There was room to park two cars inside the gate but plenty of room to park along the outside of the gate as well. The hosts were wonderful and communicative with quick and helpful responses. Checkout was also a breeze and they did offer a late checkout upon asking them. Would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone!

My husband and I recently enjoyed a weekend getaway at the Valley Vista property, and it was the perfect spot to unplug and immerse ourselves in nature. Remarkably, despite its close proximity to town, the property felt like a secluded forest retreat, offering the best of both convenience and tranquility. The house was beyond our expectations in terms of cleanliness - both inside and out, it was absolutely immaculate, providing a comfortable and serene experience. When we encountered an issue with the internet, the host was exceptionally responsive and swiftly resolved it, ensuring our stay remained uninterrupted. The backyard was a true highlight, offering various lounging spots to relax and soak in the surroundings, with the hot tub and hammocks being our personal favorites. The entire setting had a magical treehouse feel to it, making our stay both unique and memorable.

The place is very private and has an amazing backyard. The bedrooms and the bathrooms were extremely clean but the couch had some dirt on it and we found 2 glasses in the kitchen to be dirty with food stains.
The backyard was very pretty and well equiped but note that the area with the hammocks doesn't have any lighting so it's basically unusable after it gets dark.
The owner/property management was easy to communicate with and were very responsive.

Overall I'd give this property a 4.2/5 rating only because of I am being extra critical because of its price.

We had a great stay in Guerneville. The house is close to the downtown area (although the hill makes it a tough walk), including river access. We were looking for a relaxing weekend and it hit the spot. We used the grill and the decked back yard made it easy to find sun (or shade) as needed. Loved the fenced in yard for our pup (although the neighbor's dog was not happy with the intruder and barked a lot). Overall, great stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at WC lodge. The location was very close to the town, but also far enough away for privacy and quiet.

The three level outdoor back deck was great for relaxing and immersing in nature.

I would highly recommend staying here

Beautiful place! The outdoor terraces were amazing, very inviting place to stay and hang for a getaway weekend. The house is updated and very comfortable with all the amenities you could ever need. The kitchen is fully stocked. The downstairs apartment is brand new and just remodeled, and was much bigger than I expected. I would certainly stay here again. Close to downtown Guerneville and all the river spots.

We loved our stay – it's better than the photographs, and completely peaceful and quiet! Many thanks to the hosts who were very responsive. Make sure to get the ADU as well, it's a great space and perfect addition.

This place was absolutely lovely and very well maintained. The view is amazing and the amenities were high quality, including the large hot tub. The backyard is completely private and very peaceful. The balcony patio furniture is cozy. We enjoyed breakfast outside with the view. Location wise It is technically walkable to town but it is on a pretty steep hill. We use a local cab service RJD2 to get downtown, but Lyft and UBER are probably options when it’s a busier season.

A clean, cozy cabin with the perfect mix of rustic charm and modern amenities, fixtures and appliances - like great kitchen and bathrooms.

It felt remote and private, with a beautiful view - but was just a short drive (or casual stroll) into town.

The terraced landscaping with hammocks and a large hot tub was beautiful and well-maintained. We hope to come back again in the summer months to enjoy all that outdoor space!

The place was exactly like the pictures. Easy to find, and in close proximity to everything we wanted to do. Was in a neighborhood, but did not feel like it, felt very remote when inside.

This was hands down our favorite stay and one of the most well stocked and thoughtful items throughout the home. They even had a pack and play for our daughter and the doggies loved the back yard. I highly recommend and we will definitely be back! Thank you so much for the amazing experience.

This place was better than advertised! The backyard was amazing and relaxing in the family/TV room was equally as incredible.

Hosts were great communicators and we loved the proximity to downtown. If you are on the fence, commit!

House was as advertised! We had a fabulous time, highlights include the hot tub, the hammocks, and using an air fryer for the first time.

Cozy home with fantastic outdoor space. The rooms were comfortable and the house was well stocked with essentials - especially THE KITCHEN. This kitchen was the most well stocked I have ever seen in a rental property, full of nice kitchenware and all of the appliances you could want. The outdoor space has three levels of deck - one for dining, one for hot tubbing, and one for picking plums off the trees and lounging. Gorgeous views. Super close to town. Because we brought two babies, the only wish we had was that there were baby/kid stuff stocked, but certainly understand that's not what all airbnb's are marketing for. We made it work! Loved our stay.

We had a wonderful time here and look forward to coming back next year! The beds are super comfy, the house is well stocked and the yard in incredible - fully fenced in with stunning views of the redwoods. We will definitely make this our annual stop. Thank you again for an amazing stay.

You are on a private hill, over looking a tree topped canopy in privacy. Great front yard as well as back yard space.
The hot tub was underneath the trees, and the stars. Right minutes from downtown, and from the river and 25 minutes to the ocean. We loved Goat Rock beach!

This place was picturesque and amazing!! Our family of four stayed for 3 nights and it was absolutely enjoyable.

Very nice home in a lovely setting. The location amongst magnificent redwood trees cannot be beat. It’s not even 5 min into town but you’ll feel so relaxed. I would book again for sure. WC Lodging is very responsive and helpful.
