Sanctuary on Lytton

Our stay here was absolutely perfect for our group of 16. The property was spacious, beautifully designed, and surrounded by stunning farm views that made every morning magical. The home had everything we needed—from a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms to a well-maintained outdoor area with a fire pit and pool, ideal for relaxing after wine tasting. Communication with the host was easy and responsive, making check-in and check-out seamless. It was the perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and wine country charm.

Wonderful house! We had a pool heating issue and the management was very quick to respond and deal with it. They responded to text quickly and sent someone out right away. Overall a great place for groups. Great views, and great property. One thing to note - the kids bunk room is in one of smaller 2 bedroom houses a little far from the main house to you need plan accordingly.

Fantastic place to stay! We had the best time with a large group of friends. The amenities are perfect for chilling following a day of wine tours, weddings, or a walk in the parks! Amazing kitchen and outdoor space very open - we would recommend 11/10!

Epic rental! We were a group of 16, 8 kids and 8 adults, and it was an awesome set up! The kitchen, outdoor table, games for the kids in the garage were fantastic. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies and pool had a ton of floaties and towels. 100% amazing! Also, very close to Healdsburg.

This was the perfect place for a larger group. Great amenities including a huge, well stocked kitchen and pool for all ages.

We loved our stay! The property was beautiful, relaxing, spacious and very clean. We’d love to stay there again. I also appreciated the secure pool cover and the helpful additions of step stools for sinks, high chair, and plastic cups for my kids as well.

The only issue I had was that I couldn’t find the remote for what seemed like automated blinds in the primary suite so bring eye masks in case you have the same issue.

The place was amazing. We had 18 family members made up of adults and kids staying on the properties’ 3 houses. The main residence was impressive. Clearly top end. It had a huge, modern open kitchen and a comfortable patio with plenty of space to serve as a central gathering point for our large group. The view from the family room and patio was stunning. After a fun day tubing on the Russian River or an afternoon of complimentary wine tasting, the heated pool, the hot tub and the gas burning fire pit were great places to relax in the cool evenings. We definitely will come again.

We loved staying here. We had invited a few friends and family. It was so peaceful we didn’t want to leave. Such a relaxing getaway. Everything was clean and organized. I recommend this place. The owners are the sweetest. We are thinking about making this our tradition getaway spot!

It is an amazing property. Even though it’s right off the freeway, you cannot hear the freeway at all. Spacious, beautiful, and just a well-rounded place.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Sanctuary on Lytton property! We met for a family reunion, and the house was perfect - private, clean and great for our group! Plenty of room for all of us, in both the main house and the two adjacent buildings.

The outdoor space was the highlight! We had the best time relaxing in the pool and the hot tub surrounded by the beautiful hills and fields. The bocce court and other activities were great, and we loved dining and reminiscing around the outdoor table.

The hosts were super responsive with anything we needed, which was minimal. Check in and check out instructions were clear and easy to follow.

I would completely recommend this property and the hosts!

Rented this property for my wife’s birthday and it was a beautiful place for a get together with friends. Although we wished the other guest rooms were closer to the main house, it was more than adequate to house all the families that attended. The property is fast and the scenery is beautiful. A nice pool with a lot of extra pool toys and a Jacuzzi that fits six.

The kitchen amenities were great and I thoroughly enjoyed my time preparing meals for the party.

The management staff was responsive and took care of whatever issues we had immediately. Would rent this property again.

We held a reunion at this property for our friends over a long weekend, and every single person loved the stay from start to finish - the clean & comfortable houses, the incredible pool, the stunning VIEWS, and the fully equipped kitchen were some of the highlights.

Our group had a wonderful time. We were a total of 6 families with young kids and it was lovely to each have our own space, but have so many communal areas on the property to congregate together.

We had a few issues upon checking in (pool heating, hot water in main house), but WC Lodging was very quick to respond and everything was resolved as soon as humanly possible, which we appreciated. Great customer service!

The views are very peaceful and beautiful. The house amenities had everything we needed... there is so much to do on property, we barely got to enjoy everything! We've never seen an Airbnb kitchen so fully and nicely stocked with cookware! We felt very safe with the kids running around and the private gate/long driveway up added to our privacy and safety. Thank you!

The place was absolutely perfect for a girls weekend with a big group of friends. It had everything, and comfortably fit everyone. The hot tub at sunset was a highlight with the amazing views. Also so close to healdsburg making it a convenient location. Would highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our time there and it was fun for the whole family ranging in age from 3 to 83. Even with bad luck rainy weather it was a spectacular weekend getaway.

This is a gorgeous home in a gorgeous location. It was centrally located for everything our group planned to do -- hiking, dining, wine tasting. We love to cook and the home is beautifully appointed for cooking and eating at home. The property is very spacious and comfortable for large group and thoughtfully set up for hosting. We would love to return here.

The perfect place for a big family. All units were clean, comfy & homey. There were plenty of towels, TP, & soaps. Beds & pillows were comfy. With the indoor & outdoor seating in the main house, we could all sit down at a table to eat. We cooked all our meals & ate together, played games, walked around the property, worked out in the exercise room, & swam- plenty of space to spread out. The view was beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pan, dishes, glassware, serving dishes & some kitchen essentials- oil, a few spices, saran wrap, foil. The AC & pool was welcome in the heat. One end of pool was the younger rowdy section while the other end was the relaxing zone for the slightly mature folks. The main house had a large parking area & the other 2 units had parking as well. It is a short walk to the main house from the other units. Communication with the host, was top notch. Replies to me were prompt & helpful. We are extremely pleased with our stay & would return.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were great and very responsive. We had an issues with the BBQ and they replaced it overnight. I highly recommend this property.

This was a fantastic central location for our group of 10+ foodie friends. A relaxing and spacious zone to prepare for a day of wine tasting with breakfast; and then relax during the evening. Complete with a picturesque horizon and a lot of birds. Would recommend!

This past weekend was incredible. The Sanctuary on Lytton had everything I could possibly want to make my birthday weekend with friends and family memorable. The view from every room in the house was spectacular. It was immaculate and had everything we needed and more! Debbie was fantastic and helped in making reservations for local wineries and restaurants and made sure we were taken care of . I would definitely stay there again and can’t wait to come back .

The photos and descriptions matched our experience completely. This is a great location for a family and friends gathering with plenty of activities on property and plenty of space for spreading out. Perfect orientation of the great room in the main house with a view towards the Geysers, Mt St Helena and the vineyards of the Alexander Valley. Kitchen is well equipped as we made two group dinners together and it would handle a hired chef easily if you go that route. Very clean and comfortable with easy access to Lake Sonoma, Healdsburg, vineyards in Dry Creek and hiking in the coastal range. I would stay again as there is much to do, it’s a beautiful property and there is the possibility of a new adventure every time.

I can most definitely say that this was the most beautiful location my friends and family have ever stayed at. The amenities were perfect for everyone, and accommodated all the adults and kids. The common area was amazing and we were all able to enjoy each others company in such an open space. The accordion style doors really brought the beautiful view even closer to us. My wife and I are already looking at other dates we can book this location! I really could go on and on about how perfect our stay was and can highly recommend it to anyone!

This was a wonderful home and property. The home and guest houses are comfortable, well-equipped, and accurate to the descriptions. It is a big piece of land with many things to do. Our stay at the Lytton Sanctuary was fantastic. Ours was family reunion - all our adult children with spouses/significant others and 1 granddaughter, age 6. We all had a great time, enjoyed to beautiful, sprawling property and used and enjoyed all the amenities including the pool, bocci ball, ping-pong table, etc. Kitchen was very well appointed with top-of-the-line appliances and everything else we needed. We especially appreciated the privacy afforded by the 3 separate living quarters = each with its own kitchen, linens, towels, etc. Best of all was the setting - serene and scenic, with beautiful vistas and views of the surrounding hills. We didn't need much but communications with the hosts were very easy. Not inexpensive but well worth the investment.

Absolutely loved this home and property. Lots of activities for the whole family and so serene we barely left the property. The management team was easy to work with and always responsive. The whole family felt at ease the whole trip and although there were many places close by to visit we stayed home.

The house was gorgeous and perfect for our large group. It was wonderful to have so many bathrooms and kitchens - and space to spread out and get some quiet time. We loved the hot tub and the big main house common area. The kitchen had every tool imaginable. The property managers were incredibly responsive and helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Sonoma. This home is perfect for a large family or multiple groups traveling together. We especially appreciated the bedrooms being split between three different buildings which allowed for extra privacy and relaxation. The location is absolutely perfect if you are interested in local wine tastings. You can drive 5 minutes in any direction and be at the best wineries California has to offer. There are also numerous restaurants and outdoor activities nearby. Of course you may not want to leave the house at all with the pool, hot tub, games, and large kitchen. There are incredible views outside and the property is truly pristine. The hosts have thought of everything as we were quite at home there. It's an incredible spot for a Sonoma vacation. We're so happy we stayed here!

An amazing wine country get away!

An absolutely breathtaking place for a fun and peaceful getaway with family! The pictures do NOT do this place justice - it's truly a one of a kind property set in gorgeous surroundings.Our extended family of 10 met here to connect, relax, and enjoy the beauty that wine country has to offer. The main home itself is well appointed (every single touch has been well thought out), from the remote control shades to the gourmet kitchen to the unbelievably comfortable, adjustable beds. Each bedroom is spacious and has its own bath. The open floor plan is ideal for large groups to connect and enjoy cooking, sitting around the fire, or relaxing outdoors while viewing the mountains. Two of our couples stayed in the guesthouse and said it was perfectly appointed. The outdoor space felt like a compound to me, with ample space to walk, play basketball, and enjoy nature. I also really loved hearing the nearby roosters welcome in the morning! And while it is definitely more of a rural setting, you are only 5 minutes from Healdsburg and all the restaurants and shops it has to offer. Don't hesitate on this one - it's absolutely amazing.

Really loved our stay at the Villa. The place has a ton of child friendly amenities (high chair, kids play tables and stools, bunk bed, etc.). We had three families staying there and had plenty of room to invite some friends to come visit us as well. Great communications with the host. Really beautiful spot, and loved all three houses.

LOVED this stunning property. The view from the main house overlooking the pool and mountains was breathtaking and our family staying at the property with us shared the same feeling. We would recommend this house to families including those with kids as the property is very kid friendly (including the pool)!. The kitchen is also large with an open layout which was fantastic for times when we wanted to gather around and hang out as a group. Highly recommend!

Booked this property for my company's leadership team offsite (six of us) and it was perfect. Six bedrooms so everyone had their own room...main house is spectacularly beautiful and very, very well appointed. Three bedrooms (two are MASSIVE) each with its own bathroom. The guest house has two bedrooms and one bath...not as nice as the main home but still perfectly adequate for a comfortable night's sleep. The sixth bedroom room is in an in-law unit in a converted horse stable; it is nice but the person who slept there did complain of a lot of noise in the walls...we think it's probably either birds or something else in crawl space between the room and the stable's roof...let's call that room a bit more rustic but still very clean and nice. Highlights are the kitchen, BBQ grill, massive living room, and spectacular backyard with a pool, bocce, and one of the best valley views I've seen. No other word than spectacular. House allowed for easy group discussions, big team dinners, and space to get some quiet time away from each other. Would be perfect house for 2-3 families to share for a weekend as well...especially if you have a few older kids you can have stay in the more "rustic" in-law unit. Very responsive property management. I'd love to go back.
