We went for a family Christmas/New Year’s celebration and the house was perfect! The grounds were gorgeous, the kitchen was beautiful and had everything we needed to cook several nice meals. We especially enjoyed the game room which allowed us to keep the young adults off their phones. We also enjoyed all the comfortable bedrooms and the spaces around the house. We had people watching football in the family room, people sitting and talking in the living room, some in the kitchen and a few back and forth to the game room. The house was perfect and we had plenty of room for our libations, food and snacks. Thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful property!

It's a bit off the path, but I expected that for this area. It was a good value, though, so take my observations as so.

My observations:

- The house was noisy. Our party was two couples, but you could hear everything from any place in the house - doors shut or open.

- There were some broken things around the house (understandable), but the host requested pictures as proof—simple things like drains not draining or the water machine having an empty five-gallon jug.

- The house was not cleaned well between guests—hair in the bathroom and common places.

Overall, it was a satisfactory stay. The beds were comfortable, and we became familiar with the house's layout. When returning, we would likely not choose this house again.

Response From: Debra Sacco

Hi Ross! I apologize if my request for pictures came across was as "requiring proof" as this was not the case. My request was so I could send out the correct technician. For example, your description of the drain could have required either a plumber or a handyman, it was important to decipher which one to send out. Regarding cleanliness, had we known we would have sent housekeeping out ASAP. You are welcome back anytime should you choose. Thanks and have a great day!

This was such a wonderful home and all of the beds and linens were so comfortable! This was the perfect place to stay for a wine trip getaway with friends. The garage with the pool table and treadmill really set it apart from the other properties I was considering. The house itself looks very much like the pictures online, but it isn’t quite as secluded as it appears to be. Still a wonderful location and I would absolutely stay there again!!!

This house is a true find. Everything in tip-top shape, great location, view, deck, spotless, luxury kitchen. The beds were the most comfortable we've ever slept in-and there's even one on the lower level just right for a nap. One downside for us-the steep circular staircase between floors. Probably not so bad for younger people.

The hosting was less stellar: between indifferent and cold. We asked for directions to the nearest grocery store: they told us to Gogle. We asked for info on special things to do in the area; they sent us the URL for the county brochure. I asked if someone would meet us at the house for check-in; they required 24 hour notice. An electric fireplace didn't work; they told me to send them photos so complicated we just did without. No apology; no offer to send someone out to make the repair. Left a sour note.

In fairness, I'm a frequent, long term Airbnb renter and am used to a high level of service. The owner here is not a person but a business.

Beautiful home in a beautiful location. The set up was great with three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs (additional bedroom and 1/2 bath downstairs). We enjoyed the large living room and smaller living space as well as the large kitchen. Plenty of seating and room to spread out.

Got the pleasure of staying at this location to celebrate my 40th birthday. I was having difficulty with several other rentals in the area when trying to plan some festivities at the home, but WC Lodging was SUPER responsive and worked with me to host my friends and family visiting the area. The space was incredible, scenery beautiful, and the home was something out of a dream. For those looking for fun in the game room (where we spent a good deal of time), I imagine this space used to be used for feed cause you get the aroma of hay - but we didn’t mind and it kinda adds to the farm house vibe! Highly recommended.

The farmhouse is extremely well furnished for any family, especially those who like to cook. The bedrooms and bathrooms are great, and the flow of the house works well for a large group. The grounds are beautiful, and the garage was a good place to hang out with its pool table and other games. The area in which the home is located is quiet and great for long walks. Several markets are only a short drive away, as are fun towns to explore. The outdoor firepit is wonderful. A working indoor fireplace would make a nice touch.

We wanted a little wine country getaway with friends and found this gem. Nice rooms, amazing views of vineyards, nice outdoor fireplace, and a playroom with a bar, pool table and even a cigar humidor! When we arrived and scouted the house, I opened the refrigerator from the playroom (in the garage) and noticed that there was food left over, perhaps from the cleaners. There were also empty water bottles and wine bottles that were not properly disposed prior to our arrival. Unfortunately the indoor fireplace is not set for use which it would be perfect during the fall/winter nights. Overall, place is great for a getaway with so many wine tasting rooms nearby. I know the property will improve from this minor mistakes.
