Healdsburg Homestead

This is such a special place. We had a couples weekend in Healdsburg with some friends and given the choice of heading out for dinner, we all decided to hunker back at the airbnb and cook! It was such an inviting, comfortable, well-appointed space - and the host is fantastic. Everything was smooth from check in to check out. We’ll be back!!

The house was lovely, clean, in a great but quiet location. Everything was smooth. We would stay there again.

We loved our stay! The three beds also had varying levels of soft/firmness which was perfect for different sleepers. So lovely!

Wow wow wow!! I am not joking when I say this is hands down the best air bnb I’ve ever stayed at. We made dinners there and it had every single thing we needed. We were super close to town and vineyards for wine tasting. I was impressed with how beautifully curated the design and style of this home is. The view of that backyard is lovely and I could go on and on about how special this home felt but you’ve got to just see for yourself ✨✨✨

The cutest and most comfortable house I’ve stayed in. It has a quaint cottage feel with all the luxuries (pool, hot tub, huge outdoor space) you could want. Located only 5 minutes from the center of town, but gives a remote relaxing feel, the best of both worlds! I can’t wait to rent this place again during the summer months!

This house is so charming - you want to just sit outside and enjoy! It has a rustic and modern feel and although it looks natural - you can tell how much thought went into the design and furnishings. We felt right at home and if you walk down the block you can make friends with two donkeys, two horses and see an Emu. Worth the stay and we will be back for sure!

My family and I had a wonderful getaway here. Everyone was comfortable and happy. The airbnb is very child and pet friendly. My niece had tons of fun running around the garden and playing with the provided toys, and our dog had plenty of room to roam and relax.

The home is also extremely centrally located being only 5-10 mins from various wineries and Healdsburg downtown, while at the same time the home feels like you're deep in nature.

We had a great stay and would recommend this place to families or groups especially those with dogs and children.

Beautiful home, was initially worried about the un-heated pool but happy to see it was comfortably heated by the sun. Nice and close to downtown but enveloped in beatiful nature. Tons of different spaces on the property to hang out. Great for the dogs and kids.

Highly Recommend. This was a great place to stay. Easy to find and located in a quiet street. 5-10 minute drive to Healdsburg Square. Close to all the Dry Creek Wineries. House was comfortable for a couple or family. Pool and spa were a bonus. WC Lodging was super responsive throughout the entire process.

This was our third time staying here, and it's just as wonderful as the first! The house cozy, clean, well equipped. The host was also super responsive. It's close to a ton of great wineries and just a stones throw away from downtown Healdsburg. A great home base for exploring in the daytime and relaxing at night, or spending the entire day at the pool.

A truly exceptional property - my family came last year and loved it, so we booked again. The property and home are even more beautiful than the photos - a total wonderland with tons of options for quiet and for gathering. The children’s books and incredibly well equipped kitchen made it a delight for all ages. Thank you!!!

This place was amazing! The interior was beautiful, and the outdoor patio area was stunning—my kids had such a great time running around and playing outside. It’s also conveniently located close to downtown, and the winery we visited was just 15 minutes away. It was the perfect spot for our family, and we’d definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed the house - the layout of the house was great for a group of six adults. The location was great and the property manager was very responsive and friendly.

For parents with young children, the house has a ton of children’s books, some toys, a pack-n-play, a high chair and a booster seat. The laundry room is big enough for a pack-n-play, which we intended to use except ants and cleaning product odors made it not realistic.

We did run into a few difficulties, mostly minor.

We had difficulty with the stove and the plan was to have this fixed after our stay.

We had difficulty with ants perhaps caused by the rains and a leaf as it may have had sap on it. We also had a few millipedes show up in the house. The most disconcerting thing was that almost every room had a mouse trap in it. We didn’t come across any mice and we recognize that this is the country and I can see them having them there when the house is unoccupied but it was unpleasant to discover these during our stay.

Our family absolutely loved our stay at the Healdsburg Homestead! The home was warm, comfortable, well taken care of and fully stocked with everything we needed during our time there. The property was beautiful and peaceful. Would highly recommend to anyone and can't wait to come back.

This home was a peaceful garden of amazingness. The kitchen is chef worthy with many of the essentials provided. The outdoor spaces provide so many varied views and are insta worthy! The hot tub was on point and the basketball and soccer “field” gave us plenty of time to enjoy with our family. We were so fortunate to be able to book this last minute as our prior Airbnb ended up with NO hot water and, come to find out, it was across the street from where our friends had booked - how lucky was that?!?

Next time we come to Healdsburg - we will definitely look to book again!

Wow. This place truly exceeded our expectations! The pictures really dont do it justice. We loved the location, so peaceful, beautiful and 1 min from the freeway and literally 5 mins from shops and awesome restaurants.

The place was super comfortable and EVERY little detail is carefully thought out. Perfect decor. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Loved the plugs and hooks to hang towels etc. The yard was absolutely incredible. We sat out on the deck everyday and enjoyed nature and the beautiful open views. Loved being surrounded by tall trees, very private. I especially enjoyed watching the resident birds and butterflies of all kinds. Theres a cute garden with fresh veggies in the back as well. It was truly a joy to relax in the sun and experience nature all around. We loved everything about this place and felt as if we were visiting close family or friends.

The host was exceptional - warm and gracious. We will definitely be back!

This is a very special property. The house itself is absolutely lovely and the grounds are perfection. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the lawn area, eating outside on the deck and lounging, watching TV in the family room in the evenings. We can’t wait to get back!

Me, my wife, and our 22 month old loved our time at this wonderful home. It was tastefully decorated, very comfortable, and lots to do for all of us—from the pool and hot tub for us, to the sandbox and abundance of toys for our little one.

Lovely spot just 5 minutes from downtown Healdsburg. The house sits in a bucolic field, surrounded by oaks. Tastefully renovated with everything you could want in the kitchen, great pool / hot tub, lovely terrace. A great place to kick back and relax!

If you want responsive management, this place is for you. Whenever we had a couple questions or glitches, management responded. Beautiful property with lots of extras (such as plenty of wine glasses, large variety of cookware, even extra tank of gas for grill). All four adults (who are frequent Airbnb users) felt this was one of the best properties we had stayed at in a long time. And that is attributed to the attractive, comfortable property AND effective management.

Our stay at Healdsburg Homestead was incredible. We had three generations staying in the house and it worked flawlessly for everyone. The build quality of the home is amazing and the doors are so good at keeping noisy littles from waking everyone else up (and visa versa). The elevated view from the kitchen and dining space is also incredible for keeping an eye on kids as they play in the front. The gardens were spectacular. It felt like a private spa! And to have a fully fenced and well secured pool was hard to find and well worth the peace of mind! Our whole family enjoyed the property and we can’t wait to come back.

We had a great getaway at the Healdsburg Homestead. We were looking for something quiet and relaxing but close enough to town to enjoy meals and shopping. Our stay was peaceful and comfortable. The house is beautifully appointed and we absolutely loved the fireplace. Would love to come back in warm weather to enjoy the pool but the hot tub was excellent, too. Beautifully designed with family of all ages in mind. The kitchen was pristine and inviting just like the seating area.
We loved our stay in early March. We were rained in, so couldn’t use their outdoor amenities much, but loved the cozy interiors..
It was quite cold and the heater took a long time to warm up, so the hosts were able to give us space heaters for the nights we started..
Would love to be back to this property in another weather.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The neighborhood is lovely and very peaceful. Walkable to a local supermarket and a coffee shop, and a very short drive to downtown Healdsburg. The house is welcoming, homey, and full of books, games and great atmosphere. We would love to come back for another girls weekend soon!

I had a tall task: find the perfect place for my wife's significant bday celebration. She's picky, but we could not have done better, in my estimation.

The house is pretty darn perfect for 4 to 6 people. Not huge, but so warm and charming, with outstanding design throughout. Joanna Gains wishes she did this house. Seriously, it's about as good a modern farmhouse as you could imagine.

The kitchen is great--lots of space to prepare great good, and the living room could not be cozier. Not huge, but the two parallel couches and fireplace, well, there's no better place to sit and chill, I mean warm, with a cup of something.

End of January in Sonoma County, we got some rain. More than typical (my family is from the area). But it's winter. Comes with the territory.

Thus, we did not get much of a chance to use the outdoor facilities, but it's all Instaworthy, if you are that guy. I am not.

We had a fabulous time.

Great, secluded location right off Dry Creek Road! The hosts provided detailed checkin information and the house/amenities were top notch! I’d recommend this AirBnB to anyone, especially those looking for a private oasis in the middle of Sonoma wine country.

This home is truly lovely! Words and pictures do not do it justice. The back yard living space is amazing. Surprise bonuses were the English flower garden and the vegetable garden. I cannot wait to rent this home again for my next stay in Healdsburg!

Wonderful property! Easy, liveable indoor space and layout. The backyard is great for relaxing or exploring. The garden was a fun bonus to wander through and identify the variety of what was growing. There are 3 bedrooms with one of them containing an additional single bed tucked behind a curtain - this worked well for one of our kids. Overall a great place to stay that’s located an easy 5 minute drive to downtown Healdsburg!

Couldn’t have been better!!! Lovely and thoughtful interior design! We all kept commenting on how beautiful the place was. It was so cozy sitting by the fire in the sunken living room and enjoying our surroundings. The outdoor area is stunning!!! We want to come back when we can use the pool! The beds were comfy and we slept like babies. It was heaven. I would change nothing!

We had a wonderful short stay with our two young daughters (2 and 3 years old). Highly recommended if traveling with kids in the wine country. Lots of outdoor space to move around and explore. I wish we had more time to read a few books from their collection as well… so many interesting reads! Great location close to town as well!

Amazing Healdsburg rental. The grounds even in February was so enjoyable. The gardens are well maintained and enormous. It is heaven for children to explore. The home was as pictured. Well decorated and warm with all the amenities one would need on a long weekend. My husband found the book collection especially well curated and finished four novels during our stay. We enjoyed the record player and the great 60’s and 70’s collection while making dinner or enjoying a glass of wine after a lovely day. Will definitely try to come back during warmer months to enjoy the inviting pool. Communication was awesome with WC Lodging; responsive and helpful.

We loved our stay in Healdsburg! Location was excellent. Right off of Dry Creek Road and very close to all the downtown restaurants/shops. The house was exactly like the pictures. We appreciated all of the thoughtful details that made the house seem comfortable and inviting. Plenty of towels and linens. Enjoyed evenings with the fire on and the backyard was spacious and peaceful. Would love to come back!

this was the perfect serenity to bring in the new year with my family of four. we were able to reflect and rest. Loved the cozy livingroom and fireplace especially. Would love to come back in the spring when it's warmer to take advantage of the backyard (huge lot with multiple acres) and pool.

This home far exceeded our expectations. Incredibly spacious and stylish designed home - you can tell the furniture, lighting, everything was put together with a lot of thoughtfulness and love. It was raining during our stay, and the den was a perfect area for our family to watch movie and gather around the gas fireplace (which was really, really warm).

Quite a spacious yard - definitely would love to come back sometime in the summer to enjoy it!

Wonderful private, quiet escape home well appointed. Bring the food because the gas stove, gas grill outside, the pool and Jacuzzi means you need to go nowhere even though your in the middle of Sonoma’s amazing wine culture.

This home, pool and landed exuded so much charm. We loved the pool, visiting the gardens and discovering new fruits and veggies each day, flipping through gorgeous garden and remodeling books, listening to records on the record player and just relaxing. It was a wonderful spot - about 5 min from the square - and we'd book it again in a heartbeat.

Great country getaway property. Very private, great pool, luxurious hot tub, massive lot with many interesting areas to forage, cute interior, good location. Definitely a repeat.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The house is beautiful and cozy, and the entire property is simply exceptional. We were worried about the unheated pool, and it turned out to be perfect, even at 10 am on a sunny day.

We made good use of the kitchen—it was well stocked with equipment to and made cooking meals super easy.

The location is a short distance to downtown, even walkable—about 25 min. We rented bikes for our stay, and enjoy a daily ride through the vineyards just a few miles away. We especially loved riding to get our daily coffee at Plank.

Highly recommend this home. The owners are so generous to let folks share this space. I didn’t want to leave, and am already planning a return visit.

It’s unclear why other reviewers have failed to mention there’s a Super NES in the den-but it’s one of the perks of this well-run rental. I have never seen so many charming details for children incorporated into the architecture. I mean I don’t actually like kids but it did make me miss my Grandparents.

It’s one of the cleanest place I’ve been & one of the few I didn’t feel needed a paper towel barrier between the counters/fridge & my stuff. The bed is very comfortable and, like at my own house, they use white linens & towels. Which admittedly shows the dirt & takes more effort to clean…but it shows the dirt. You want that. Trust.

The temperature is comfortable & the appliance situation is above par.

I travel with dogs & the backyard is so large you can walk yours without leaving the property. Nicely manicured sitting areas outside too. Not a fenced yard or a house you can let them off leash at unless you want poison oak. That isn’t a flaw of this home, it’s “rural” NoCa properties 101 kinda thing. When you have acres it’s impossible to eradicate it all & it won’t bother your dog, but when you go to baby-wipe their paws or love them you’ll get it. I will say it’s clear in the appointed seating areas.

A 5-star from me means: I felt comfortable & safe as a girl traveling alone, it was clean & didn’t have a scary shower or sofa, I didn’t want for basics like paper towels or trash bags or tissues, and they have an apple tv I can use to switch mine out with while I’m there.

It’s a neat house & they did a good job modernizing it while staying true to the interior. I was quite comfortable & would happily return.

I hesitate to say how wonderful this home is because I would love to keep it a secret! It is a magical place and the garden is amazing. It is also very child friendly—important because we were traveling with young grands. What isn’t obvious from the listing is that the pool is separated and gated from the house AND has a cover. This made us much more confident to let the kids run and play in the yard. And the sandbox was a huge hit. Wine country with kids under 6 is a different experience—not many tasting outings, but this was a wonderful spot to just be.

We had a wonderful time here. Found the grounds inspiring and the ultimate peaceful place to relax and unwind from the city.

We are a family of four with three friends staying for a holiday weekend and found everything we needed to cook up in the kitchen.

So thankful to have had this experience and hope to return here again.

Stop looking around and book this place if it’s available. So many great things to say but I’ll start with its location. Very quiet grounds but only 5 minutes from downtown Healdsburg, and just about a 15 mins from most of the area wineries.
The home is accurately depicted in the photos and descriptions, with a well appointed kitchen to prepare meals. It’s probably one of the most well designed Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed. The outdoor space is just special. Lovely seating areas, hot tub and pool are just steps from the house, but what you don’t see in photos is the array beautiful flowers all over the property, likely for the bees.
It was the perfect place to celebrate my half century birthday with good friends.

We had the best time at this home and highly recommend it. It's well-located to downtown and was perfect for our family. We have two little kids under age 3 and the house had everything we needed. The photos on airbnb were very accurate. We even loved walking down the street to visit the neighbors' llamas, goats, horses, etc. There was so much attention to detail in the home and most importantly we all slept really well!
