One of the best Clear Lake fishing locations know as Bass Alley with its own private pier/boat dock.
The home has 2 levels for guests. On the main street level enjoy the sweeping panoramic views overlooking the lake from the comfort of the couch or the expansive deck and has 2 bedrooms, Living room, Kitchen, full bath and large deck. The lower level is a large family room with 2 childrens bunk beds. Follow the trail below to the private waterfront pier and deck for lounging, swimming or fishing.
Clear Lake has World Class fishing for Largemouth Bass; Crappie; Bluegill; Sunfish. Channel, Blue and Yellow Catfish. Come join us for one of the 20 plus fishing tournaments held each year.
If you feel like a day or afternoon away, Discover California’s hidden Wine Country. Lake County has deep roots in wine grape growing with the first vines planted in the 1870’s. Today there are over 8,400 acres of vineyards. Wines from Lake County have recently been featured in Wine Spectator, Decantor and Food and Wine magazines. Take a tour of local wineries without the crowds of Napa and Sonoma before the rest of the world discovers this growing wine region. With up and coming wineries such as Brassfield Estate, Gregory Graham and Vigilance just to name a few.

Water levels are LOW. If planning to fish/kayak/paddleboard from the house check water levels and availability with the county prior to booking and arrival.
Booking is contingent upon guest's acceptance of WC Lodging's rental agreement. There is an additional $350/month utility fee for all stays 30 days or greater.

Cancellation Policy
Written notice of cancellation must be received and acknowledged by Owner before 30 days prior to the check-in date in order for Occupant to receive a full refund of the Reservation Deposit. Upon receipt of written notice to cancel, Owner will send email confirmation of cancellation. For cancellation requests received less than 30 days prior to the check-in date, 100% of the rental fee is forfeited. Furthermore, it is understood that Owner may reject this application and return the deposits in full; and Occupant hereby waives any claim for damages by reason of non-acceptance of tenancy. If cancellation is due to any circumstance caused by Owner, or by any act of nature that renders the home uninhabitable, then 100% of all deposits will be promptly returned to Occupant. After the first day of the rental, there will be no refunds for any reason. No credit will be given for shortened stays due to late arrival or early departure for any reason. No cancellations due to weather.

Amazing view off the deck. During our week stay we had days in the high 80’s as well as 50 degrees with rain and wind but we always found time to hang out on the deck for a little bit.
Inside was nice and clean for the most part. $250 cleaning fee for a house this size is ridiculous and they definitely don’t use that money to clean up the yard or dock cause it’s a mess.
Some other reviews said this as well but if you have a sedan be VERY careful coming into the driveway cause you will hit the bottom of your car on the curb.
Overall we enjoyed the stay here.

Beautiful views. Kitchen stocked with essential tools. Path to dock may be treacherous for handicap visitors. Cleaning fee was a bit steep but the place was immaculate. I would come here again in the summer!

The location was perfect. Gorgeous view, and the weather was perfect. The inside had ants and spiders every where. The dock broke the second day we were there, a fluke accident, so we were unable to fish off the dock. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Other than the bugs and the dock, it was a great stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Bass Alley Bungalo. The pictures do not do this place justice, as it was newly remodeled, the kitchen was beautiful and fully stocked with all of the kitchen items you will need, and the place was spotless, with lovely and comfortable furniture. The air conditioning was very welcome as the temperature was in the 100s when we were there, and it kept the place plenty cool despite the heat and smoke from the local fires (we were here during fire season). The views of the lake were spectacular from both levels of the house, and the patios add extra space to watch the sun rise and set. We will definitely return, and highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet scenic getaway on the lake.
